Are You Using Pinterest?
With more than 12 million unique visitors and 11 million total visits per week, Pinterest is now the fastest growing social media network. In fact, it is the fastest growing website in history – including Facebook. It drives more referral traffic to retailers than YouTube, Google+, and LinkedIn combined and has already accrued over 1 million likes on Facebook.
What is Pinterest? Pinterest is an online pinboard. It lets you organize and share images/links that you find on the Web or images that you upload from your computer. These images are “pinned” to boards you name (e.g., Things to do With Kids, Cool Products for The Home, Vacation Hotspots, etc.) and are organized under one of the 32 general Pinterest categories. Pins can include captions like “great event for kids.” Once you’ve “pinned” an item to you board, it can be repinned by other Pinterest users.
